The Trees
When we first discovered this property, we found ourselves under the canopy of two majestic trees: Chakáh & Ceiba. The Chakah Known in Mayan lore as a symbol of resilience and healing, while the Ceiba “tree of life” it connects the underworld, earth and the heavens. It symbolizes the eternal cycle of life, death and rebirth.. Its believed to possess protective energies and an innate connection to the spirit of the earth. We named this tree La Querida, and our sanctuary to breathe with the environment.
